Terry Levy did not adapt someone else's model for this Masterclass. He co-developed Corrective Attachment Parenting himself, inside clinical work with the families standard approaches were not reaching: children carrying early developmental trauma, foster and adoptive kids, and parents who had already tried every behavior strategy available to them.
That is why the framework is built around the parent-child relationship rather than the child's behavior. What he brings to the September 10th Masterclass is the practical version of it: how to assess a child's internal working model, how to read a parent's own attachment history & triggers, and how to apply the 4Rs, the 10 Cs of loving leadership and Attachment Communication Training in session. He teaches this material to clinicians internationally, which is why it arrives as clinical process, not theory.

You know why a wounded child rejects the safety being offered
You read the parent's attachment history & triggers before choosing an intervention
You coach the parent into becoming the healing presence the child needs
You reach for the 4Rs, the 10 Cs or ACT based on what the moment calls for
The child's survival coping keeps getting read as behavior
Another behavior plan goes home & stops holding within the week
The parent's own dysregulation quietly works against the healing
The family keeps fracturing with no move at the system level

Yes. This Masterclass is built for clinicians whose training covered trauma broadly & whose caseload holds the developmental trauma & disrupted attachment presentations that broad training cannot reach.
This is not attachment theory. Terry Levy teaches Corrective Attachment Parenting, a structured clinical model with named tools you apply in session & coach parents to use at home.
A parent-led clinical framework built on safety, attunement & co-regulation. It works through the parent-child relationship rather than through behavior plans, using the 4Rs, the 10 Cs of loving leadership & Attachment Communication Training.
No. Levy's framework adds the attachment & developmental trauma lens to the modality you already practice without asking you to abandon it.
No. The model was built inside clinical work with children who reject standard approaches, because it targets the attachment relationship, not the behavior in front of you.
The framework treats the parent as the healing agent, so it is strongest when caregivers are involved. You will also learn how to assess the child's internal working model & the family system dynamics on their own.
6 CEs total from the Wounded Children Masterclass: Clinical Strategies for Developmental Trauma & Family Healing with Terry Levy, Ph.D. Available for purchase after you register.
