Christina Zampitella, Psy.D., FT, is a licensed clinical psychologist & Fellow of Thanatology through the Association for Death Education and Counseling (ADEC) one of the few clinicians credentialed specifically in the science of dying, death, & bereavement. She founded The Center for Grief and Trauma Therapy for the population most clinicians refer out: bereaved clients carrying both trauma & loss.
Across 30 years of clinical work, she has built her practice & her training of other clinicians around the exact moment trauma symptoms shut down the grieving process. This 6-hour Webinar is the integrative sequence she teaches faculty at the Portland Institute for Loss and Transition & advisory clinicians at the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS): how to pace stabilization, narrative reconstruction, & meaning-oriented intervention when trauma blocks access to mourning.
