EMDR-C Certification Application Requirements:
Complete this Qualifying Training
Complete Required Reading: The applicant must attest that they have read at least two practitioner books on the practice of EMDR Therapy.
Complete Clinical Consultation: The applicant must participate in a minimum of 10 hours of EMDR-focused case review consultation sessions, with an Evergreen Certifications Approved Consultant*. The consultation sessions must be completed within 1 year of completion of education hours. The applicant must have an Evergreen Certifications Approved Consultant* review at least 1 EMDR client session either by video submission to the consultant, session transcript review with the consultant or by having the consultant present for live observation of a peer-to-peer session. Please note that after you complete the education hours, you should begin using EMDR to discuss in consultation.
*If you are working with an EMDR consultant that is not listed as an Evergreen Certifications Approved Consultant, please have the consultant send a copy of their professional license and CV for Evergreen to review for approval to [email protected]

How will I access the training after I register?
You'll receive a confirmation email with your Zoom link and access instructions immediately after registration. All session recordings are uploaded within 24 hours of each live session and available to you for life.
How does the certification process work?
This training fulfills the 42-hour education requirement for the Evergreen Certified EMDR Clinician (EMDR-C) credential. Once you complete the training, you'll receive a Certificate of Completion and a waiver code that covers the $349.99 Evergreen application fee. You then submit your application directly to Evergreen along with proof of your two required reading books and 10 consultation hours — both completed on your own timeline within 2 years.
Will I have to pass a quiz to complete this program?
Yes. A short post-test is required to receive your Certificate of Completion. It is straightforward and based directly on the training content — not designed to be a barrier.
How many CEs will I earn?
42 board-approved CEs — covering 18 hours of trauma content, 18 hours of EMDR-specific content, and 6 clinical practice hours. This meets the full education requirement for the EMDR-C credential.

Graduate students under supervision may attend the training but should confirm credential eligibility with Evergreen directly.
Is this training live or recorded?
