Free Attachment Healing Masterclass: Why Couples Who Love Each Other Keep Hurting Each Other

Therapists often see couples who:

• Repeat the same destructive argument every week
• Escalate minor disagreements into major fights
• Say things they regret in the heat of the moment

If you’ve ever watched two people who love each other tear each other apart in session, this training shows you how to interrupt that cycle.

Attachment Healing Masterclass: When Disconnection and Conflict Drive Families and Couples Apart

Learn How Trained Therapists Stop Couples From Repeating the Same Destructive Arguments

Module 1

Why the Same Fight Keeps Happening No Matter What You Try

They understand the pattern. They went home and did it again. You'll learn exactly what is keeping it locked in place.

Module 2

Give High-Conflict Clients a Structure That Holds When Emotions Don't

When the conversation escalates before you can redirect it, skill-based contracts give both people a framework before it gets that far.

Module 3

The Life Script: Reach the Attachment Wound Behind the Words

For the client who keeps saying the wrong thing to the person they love most. This intervention goes to where the damage is actually coming from.

Module 4

Stop Being the Referee. Start Being the Clinician.

Parent-child and family sessions that move toward actual connection instead of two people talking at each other with a therapist in the middle.

Module 5

Help Change Stick After the Session Ends

Your couple has a real moment. Something shifts. They come back and it is gone. You will leave with tools that give that change somewhere to go when they walk out the door.

Module 6

Take On the Couples and Families You Keep Sending Elsewhere

The high-conflict relational cases you refer out are not beyond your clinical reach. You will walk away with a directive framework you can use with them starting this week.

  • You give families a directive path toward connection that holds outside your office

  • You take on the relational cases you used to send elsewhere, and you know exactly what to do

Meet Your Instructor

Terry M. Levy, PhD

50+ years working with couples, families, and parent-child dyads: his interventions come from decades of real clinical cases, not theory

Director of the Attachment Treatment and Training Institute in Evergreen, Colorado, and co-author of Attachment, Trauma and Healing, one of the foundational texts in attachment-based clinical work

He will show you exactly how to use ACT, the Life Script intervention, and structured communication frameworks with the relational clients who are hardest to reach: starting with your next session

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this actually help me with the couples and families I am seeing right now?

Yes. Every framework taught in this training is designed for immediate clinical use. You will leave with structured interventions you can bring into your next relational session, not concepts to think about between sessions.

Is this just going to be more attachment theory I already know?

No. This training assumes you understand attachment. What it gives you is ACT: a structured, directive framework for interrupting the negative cycle in session, in real time. Theory is the foundation. This training is the application.

What if I only work with couples and not families or parent-child cases?

ACT applies directly to couples work. The sharing and listening guidelines, skill-based contracts, and Life Script intervention are all built for dyadic communication. You will find it immediately applicable regardless of which relational population you work with.

What if I can't attend live?

The recording is only available to CE credit purchasers. If you register free and cannot attend, the training ends and the content is gone. CE buyers get lifetime recording access and can watch on their own schedule.

Do I get CE credits just for attending?

CE credits are not included with free registration. They are available for $67 and include 9 board-approved CEs plus a free bonus: Toxic Relationships Course.

Will this work with high-conflict couples or only mild relational distress?

ACT was specifically developed for high-conflict dyads. The skill-based contracts and structured communication framework are designed for couples and families where the negative cycle is entrenched, not just emerging.

What if I already use EFT or another relational modality?

ACT is designed to complement what you already do, not replace it. Dr. Levy will show you how to integrate the framework with your existing approach so it enhances your clinical work rather than asking you to start over.

Will this be too theoretical to use in session?

This training is built around clinical application. Multimedia demonstrations, video examples, and interactive practice are built into the 6 hours so you are practicing the framework, not just hearing about it.

I've attended CE trainings that weren't worth my time. How is this different?

eCare trainings are built around one standard: does it change what happens in the room on Monday. Every module in this training is tied to a specific clinical moment and a specific intervention. If you leave without something you can use immediately, that is a problem we take seriously.

What kinds of clients is this most useful for?

Couples stuck in a negative cycle that survives every session. Parent-child dyads where every conversation becomes a defense. Families where sessions feel like conflict management instead of clinical intervention. High-conflict relational cases you currently refer out.
